Suppress mails during site import

Hi,

I want to import a site ("Bereich" into a new confluence instance.

I want to suppress any mails that might be sent during import - regardless of reasons for sending mails (author, mentioned users, watching users or whatever). Sending mails would be a data breach (GDPR).

In the confluence settings in "general configuration" I chenged "email  notification" to false.

Can anyone confirm that this is sufficient? if not: what is your advice?

Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

You can disable it via the Administration>Configuration>General Configuration. Uncheck the box Email/Push notifications
