I have a table of people in my company with the following columns: First Name, Last Name, Title, Reports To, and Location. The columns with a single word, like First Name and Last Name sort fine. But the columns with multiple words only sort on the first word, and then they appear to be ordered by first name after that. If I sort on Title, for example, "Chief Commercial Officer" (Kane) comes before "Chief Architect" (Peter), and the titles "Customer Success Manager" (Daniel), "Customer Support Associate" (Marcus), and "Customer Success Specialist" (Zechariah) appear in that order. The first names in my examples above are not actual data in the Title column. I am just including it here so you can see the conclusion I have drawn about how I think the sort is actually working. Similarly, under Location, we have a bunch of Remote folks who are listed as "Remote - PA", "Remote - CA", "Remote - WA", "Remote - TX", etc. That is the order the first 4 appear in when I sort on the Location column. It is correctly sorting all of the remote folks after Boston and before San Diego, but where they are within Remote is not correct. I have multiple folks in "Remote - CA" for example, and they do not appear together. Within the block of folks who have "Remote" as the first word in the Location column, however, everyone is sorted by their first name. I think this is a bug, but I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or if anyone else has experienced similar behavior in a Confluence table.
