How do you insert auto numbering a table in Confluence?

I think you have to insert a macro (our firm has Table Plus option) but cannot seem to get it to work...

Welcome to the community!

By right clicking on the table, then click on Table options, click numbered column. This should display the numbered column.

On Confluence Data Center you can use the Table Plus “Row Number” macro to auto-number your rows:

1. Click Edit on your page.
2. Choose Insert → Other macros.
3. Search for Row Number under Table Plus, then insert it into the header cell of the column you want numbered.
4. Save or preview your page—each row should now increment automatically.
