If we add "Table of Contents" in a confluence page, based on the heading type it captures all the heading properly. But if we copy the same bookmarks links and use it some other document as a reference link. The copied link will not point to the exact topic rather it will take it to the top of the page.
But eventually the bookmarks link should work and point it to the exact position as per the table of content location.
But when we click on Table of Content any link, it will take me to the associated Content Item. But in parallel, if we use the link in different browser or in document or refresh the browser that link will not work. it will just point it to home page.
Hi @Pronob
You should see a link icon become visible if you hover your mouse next to the end of a section title on your Confluence page like this
This provides a link with an anchor, and should take you right to the section of the page you're interested in.
Hi @Julie d_Antin _Elements_ ,
If you are in the same browser it will work properly. Once you close the browser and once again if you paste the link instead of taking you to the bookmarked space it will point you to the top of the page.
Thanks,
