Tables autosize too small. Want a bigger view

I am not talking about column size.  I am talking about the size of the table.  I have tables that are very wide.  When I create new tables, the size is very small with a slider that would not be needed if the table size were not so small

Hi @John Thompson welcome to the Atlassian community.

Please be informed, at the moment the confluence has inbuilt feature of [<- ->] "go full width or "go to center" at the tables level. This will apply to that table and not for column by column.

Parallelly, when you create a new page, it automatically has the feature (at header <- ->) that says "make full width" or "make page fixed-width". This option will increase the size of all tables in that page.
