Hi,
we are migrating from Confluence 7.13.4 to Confluence Cloud.
I'm trying to export/import our team calendar and experiencing the following issue:
the events are imported, but the references to the users, for whom these events were created are missing.
Is there any way to fix this issue?
The users do exist in the cloud instance.
Hello @elena.zernerkaening
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
The problem is that the events in the calendar are tied to a user ID. The ID for the user in the Confluence 7.x product is entirely different from the ID associated with the user in Atlassian Cloud.
That is a known limitation of migrating Team Calendar data using the export/import method.
There is a script available from Atlassian Labs that I used to migrate Team Calendars data. That script does manage to reconnect the events to the users as part of its migration process.

I last used that script at the beginning of 2023. I tested it multiple times and worked closely with an Atlassian Cloud Migration Engineer through support tickets to understand what the script could and could not do, and the pros and cons of using the script vs. the export/import method.

I would suggest that you submit a support issue to Atlassian. https://support.atlassian.com/contact/
