Team Calendars - Military Time

How can I remove the military time scheduling functionality in Team Calendars (Create Event > When)? See attached screen shot. 

This is not tied to the Display Time Format field under Global Settings for Calendars, and I have the US language pack installed, so I'm at a loss here. This is not user friendly for my teams and it is going to be a deterrent in using Calendars for scheduling.

Hi Brianna,

Do you mean you want to change the 24-hour scheduling to 12 hour scheduling and add in the am and pm times?  I don't think this can be done in Team Calendars (or anywhere in any of Atlassian's products).  If you want Atlassian to provide this you can log an enhancement request at https://jira.atlassian.com/ (although as I write this that site is down for scheduled maintenance, but it should be up and running again very soon).

This won't be much help to you, but for information: Outside of the US the 24-hour clock is normal and standard. It would be user-unfriendly to use a 12 hour clock in most other countries. Atlassian have used the worldwide ISO standard for timekeeping because they sell their products worldwide, but if the demand is there for a country-specific localisation then either they'll do it, or you could ask a 3rd party to customize your instance for you.  However, 3rd party customization of this kind is not available on the Atlassian Cloud platform, so you'd have to move to a hosted instance. Like I said, not much help to you, but it might explain why the system is the way it is.

As an ethnocentric American, I think 12 hour time would be a better default.
