We've upgraded our Confluence Server instance to 6.8.1. The Team Calendars plugin showed as incompatible, but with updates available. However, when attempting to update the plugin to 5.5.4, it install hangs and eventually fails. Anyone else experiencing this issue?
To provide some closure, we have discovered the source of the issue. Our Confluence instance is on an Amazon Aurora DB, running MySQL 5.7, which is apparently unsupported by Atlassian currently.
The suggested solution by the Atlassian team is to increase the innodb_log_file_size. Amazon does not currently allow Aurora users to edit this setting.
Our workaround for now is to create an entirely separate, non-Aurora DB for our Atlassian tools to reside on, so that we may adjust this setting.
Hi, Jennifer,
What is the exact error message you are getting?
A ticket with the Confluence Server team will be reaching you soon.

Hi Thais,
The error message is something along the lines of "There was an error with the installation". The installation process runs for about 10 minutes, then hangs and from what we can tell in the logs, crashes the DB connections, and we have to restart the instance. Once we have the instance back up, I will try to capture a screen shot.
