The "Configure Sidebar" option in my sandbox instance is not working. By default, it is set to "Child Page" and when I click on "Configure Sidebar" nothing happens!
I think, I might have played with some with some settings which has disabled this functionality. Please guide.
Hey Prateek,
Since there's no customisations configured in the Look&Feel session, as you mentioned some settings to be configured, I believe the Theme used for the instance is the same. So, can you check and schedule some downtime to run the instance in Try to run Confluence under Plugin Safe Mode to see if it will helps.
Also, when you click on the sidebar for Space Tools, can you check what the developer console will give you? For example, in Chrome, you can go with Right Click > Inspect Element.
Hope it helps you, sir. In case of having this issue persisting, please, don't hesitate to raise a new ticket in our support channel: https://support.atlassian.com

Hello there,
I believe this option is missing due to the theme that is applied to this space. Usually this is option is clearly visible and accessible using the "Global look and Feel" theme.
I also suggest you reset the Space layout to default. Go to Space tools > Look and Feel > Layouts and reset all to default.
Please let us know in case you have any questions.
Thanks.
Kind regards,
Luiz Maia

Thanks. This issue is across all spaces and not just one space. I checked all "Look and Feel" layouts are set to default. All the global ones in the admin console are also set to default.
