The content and the page boarder is not well aligned while re-size the page

guanghao fan April 15, 2025

Pls see below snapshot for the normal size vs small size. Why can't the content always start from the left side?

The reason I care this problem is, usually I want to zoom out to have a good full view if there's a wide table. But if zoom out the page, the content is never in full size. (left and right space are blank)

Hi @guanghao fan welcome to the community!  If I'm understanding your question correctly, you are wondering if there is a way to start your pages in the "full width" mode.

This Community Article will give you instructions to default your pages to Full Width

In the General Settings for Confluence, the System Administrator can check 'Editor full-width' to make this the default for all new pages.

It appears currently your pages are using the 'Fixed Width' option.  I set the default in my instance to the "Full Width" to maximize the space on the page.

Hope that helps.

It's full width mode, however it never works when I resize the page to 50%.

For example, I want to view the wide table with small size, but failed. It can only work with 90%, 80%, 75%, 67%.
