This new interface is horrid.

How to I turn a column or row into a header; I want to be able to sort when I've published the page.

Lots of fumbling to found out how to do anything - can I get the toolbar back - please?

Hello Julian,

The new editor is certainly simpler looking, but is lacking a lot of functionality in comparison to the old editor. Thank you for bringing this missing feature to our attention. I'm getting in touch now with our development team around the new editor, to find out if there is a possibility of returning this feature to Confluence.

I will contact you when I find out more about that and share it here.

Thank you for your patience!

Shannon

Hello Julian!

Good morning, I hope you are well!

This has been brought to the product managers now, and we will be updating the Confluence Cloud Editor Roadmap page once we have more details about it and if the capability will be on our future roadmap.

Please subscribe to that page so you don't miss that update!

I also created a feature request, which I expect will be updated when we have more information about this feature in the new editor. You can subscribe to this one too:

  • CONFCLOUD-69349 Ability to set any row or column to be a header in tables

Thanks again, and take care!

Shannon
