If I define more styles, both inline and block, is the drop down going to change? I'm not crazy about the idea of our users having to use div and span tags to get things to look the way we want.
I'm getting the feeling that there is no straight path to adding to the list of available styles.
We're in the midst of prototyping a conversion from a framemaker doc set to confluence. These are formal publications, so we have about 50 styles right now, about half of which are framemaker-specific tricks and work-arounds. But those remaining 25 to 30 styles are pretty important - a couple levels of indentation, 2 or 3 list styles, instruction steps with introductions and comments, important notices, that kind of stuff.
Are we completely out of luck? Or, is there a customization path available somewhere in the bowels of the confluence api that we have to suss out?
