The "New" editing experience messes template variables up

Our Confluence has been updated to the new "editing experience" and now our templates are "broken".

We were using instructional text to help people fill the values in the variables dropdown boxes and now the instructional text is not showing anymore in the "fill the variables" page when you start creating a new document using one of those templates.

Not only that, but the VALUES in the dropdown boxes are TRUNCATED (seriously!?) so that we cannot even use one of them to provide guidance (see attached image).

How can we provide our users a short help to know what the variables are about now, beside the labels?

Thank you for raising this with us. I noticed you have a support ticket at the moment for this same issue.
