Our application is the IP critical. Our Internal security team wants to track who all downloaded or exported the files from confluence. The team wants to know the below details from the log files for further auditing purpose:
a. Username
b. Space Name
c. Page Title
d. File Name
e. Download / Export Date
Please suggest what could be the best approach to implement the requirement.
Hello @jaggayya_allamsetty
The workaround listed here lets you retrieve information about who viewed an attachment from the database. This page provides an overview of the data model needed to get the other data you have listed.
An alternative is to use a third-party app. After installation, our Viewtracker app starts tracking and reporting the desired data in built-in reports, such as the Attachment Report and Content Report.
Edit: I forgot to mention. The Confluence logfiles should provide the information about the exports.
Kind regards,
Mattia
Thanks for the reply.
It helped me a lot.
Could you also suggest a method by which I can access or download the audit log file from a third party tool.
Kind regards,
Jaggayya

Hello Jaggayya,
I'm not an expert in this field. Datadog has this integration for Jira and Confluence logs. I don't know if there are other ways to quickly import these log files into other third-party tools.
Kind regards,
Mattia
