Hi all,
We are working toward changing the way our teams interact with Confluence Cloud and in order to display each member's personal contribution to making this a fantastic knowledgebase, I would like to create a Team Dashboard in our confluence space that tracks and reports on each team member's contributions to our confluence space.
I imagine a column with all team member, and a table next to it that reports on all instances where they:
I imagine it would be something of a live dashboard type of display with some graphic representations as well as a table display to cover people's preferences.
Do you do this, and if so, how?
This is something that our platform admins could deploy to all teams to help them to adapt to a new way of passing on their respective knowledge.
I look forward to hearing your ideas
Steve
@Steve Ashton There is a User Analytics dashboard that displays the followings related to your use case:
The report is available for a single space or for the whole Confluence Cloud site. It looks like this for the site:
This is provided by the Better Content Analytics app. Just install the app and it will start tracking the user activity immediately. You can try it free if it helps with your use case.
(Discl. this is a paid and supported app developed by our team. Free for 10 users!)
Thanks Aron, this does look like a great solution if I can get it past the bean counters :)

i don't think you will be able to create a Report on such a detailed level without writing your own App (or buying one).
The "recent updates" macro will give you updates for a specific space, but only on a level of contribution for edits and distinctive entries for comments and attachments:
You won't find out about reactions or labels with that report and you cannot sort by team member.
Contributions of a specific team member can be found on their profile page though. Also, if you create a "Team" and add everyone to it, you will find actions made by any member and also get an overview of all spaces and projects they work in.

Thanks @Rebekka Heilmann _viadee_ for taking the time to reply :)
I might try the team idea to see if we can create a cool space to stay connected on the topic of contributing at least.
I think once the concept and advantages are realised by more people, it will become a natural thing to create or contribute in other ways to the knowledgebase.
I will report back if I work something out

Hello @Steve Ashton
I agree with Rebekka that your specific requirements can only be addressed with a custom solution using the API provided by Atlassian.
If you'd like to avoid this effort, there are third-party apps available that can help you analyze Confluence usage and fulfill some of the examples you mentioned.
In our case, our Viewtracker app not only provides built-in reports for analyzing usage, but it also includes an Analytics Report macro. This enables you to create customized reports for various spaces and content or dashboards on Confluence pages, which you can then share with your users.
If you have any questions, we from the Communardo team will be happy to assist.
Kind regards,
Mattia
