Trial Expiry - What happens to all my spaces and pages?

Hi there,

Hope you're all well today! 

I'm in the middle of a 30 day free trial for Confluence. 

Please can someone advise what happens to all of my Spaces and Pages in Confluence if I cancel my trial / Confluence?

Ideally I need all of this saved, as I might not be in a place to persuade my team to pay for Confluence just yet.

Are you on Server or Cloud?  You've tagged Cloud, but a 30 day trial sounds like Server.

Hi, thanks for your message. I don't think it's on Server, I didn't think I'd set it up in Server, so it must be Cloud. Let me know what you think! Thanks.

Ok.  At the moment, you can easily spot Cloud instances - the url will start with <something>.atlassian.net

• If it is Cloud, then when the trial ends, you will not be able to get into your system any more, and it will be deleted a few days later (a week, from memory)
• If it is Server, then the system goes read-only at the end of the trial - you'll be able to do some admin and take backups

In both cases, you can extend trials and continue, and of course, if you buy (before the delete time on Cloud), everything just carries on from where you left off.
