Trouble removing links to pages in Confluence

I created a number of links in a Confluence document to other documents in the same space. I created the links by copying the browser address from the other Confluence page and header into the link dialogue box.

Some of the links worked, some others not, very inconsistent.

Now I would like to remove the links. I select the link text, sometimes the link-properties-toolbar pops up (sometimes not) and press "remove link". Sometimes this works, but most of the time not.

Very annoying.

Someone knows what to do?
