Trying to use ViewPDF macro

When using the macro ViewPDF macro to embed a PDF on Internet Explorer the following message is displayed on the page

You need flash player installed to preview ppt and pdf files

There is no issue in firefox

After contacting confluence support it seems to be a bug and now is awaiting a fix https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-27305

We are using Confluence 4.2.2, we do have flash installed in IE.

The PDF is displayed through flash. You just have to install flash player in IE.

Hi,

May I know what is the version of Confluence you are running? As it seems to have a known issue with older versions of Confluence.
