Two things: formatting symbols and finding previous comments on requests

Is there an option to turn on formatting symbols (like Word) where we can see where things start and end without having to highlight things and is there a way finding previous comments one has made on requests?

Would love to go back and edit something now I've figured it out, to help others :-)
