Unable to access confluence

Hello,

I am unable to access confluence page it was showing below error.

BootstrapException: Unable to bootstrap application: Failed to parse config file: Error on line 1 of document : Content is not allowed in prolog. Nested exception: Content is not allowed in prolog.

please help me in resolving this error

This means one of the configuration files you have is not in the right format. 

Most of the time, this error will happen when there is a broken file that is of xml, so I would look for xml files in the installation that you've edited to start with.  The most likely one is the server.xml file in <install>/conf - that's where most customisation is done to most confluence systems
