Unable to apply developer license

When I try to update my developer env with the dev license, I get an XSRF check failed. I saw some previous posts about this and am not sure how to resolve in my environment. Does the URL have to be the same? My prod environment is using https and dev (for now) is using http. Is that the root of my problem? If not, how can apply my developer licence to my Jira and Confluence instances. I am using data center ed.

You should be able to use your developer license despite running the dev environment without SSL. Please see this page for conditions that will trigger the XSRF errors:
