Unable to change Confluence Wiki logo

Dear Community,

I tried changing the general Confluence logo and uploaded a picture. Confluence was able to upload this. I can save the uploaded image, but in general, it is not shown. After the first changes, I restored the default version and then tried again, but I could not do it.

I make changes from the CONFLUENCE ADMINISTRATION -> General Configuration -> LOOK AND FEEL -> Site Logo and Favicon.

Please can you help me understand what the problem is?

P.S. Before making the changes, I clear the browser's cache and cookies.

Just to confirm the process you're going through...

1. Go to Confluence Settings
2. On the left-hand menu, select Site Logo and Favicon
3. Next to Site Logo, choose a file to upload, as the logo
4. Press Save to apply the changes

I just tried this, and it worked for me!

I would try again just to confirm, because Confluence also had some intermittent errors happen recently - see: https://confluence.status.atlassian.com/#past-incidents

If it's still not working, I'd contact https://support.atlassian.com/ for further assistance :)

I faced the same problem. I confirm that I follow the steps you described, but It does not work for me.

My picture has 128x48 size. Is it possible that the image in this format caused a problem?

I don't think so for logo - although it will be constrained to a maximum height of 48px.

What file type is the image?

My image is height of 48px. My image type is PNG. 

Are there any preferred image formats for logo?

It should be fine with these parameters.

Have you tried on a different browser? What error is received when you follow the above instructions?

Yes, we have tried to do it with Mozilla, Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome, but, unfortunately, we faced with the same problem.

When we want to change the design of the site, the site takes and changes all the colors (Color scheme), but does not change the image of the logo.

I'd contact Atlassian Support as a next step - let them look into this on your instance specifically.
