Unable to connect to confluence (REST API)

I'm trying to retrieve page data from confluence using REST API in PowerShell.

I'm able to receive a successful response from my personal laptop using REST API with basic authentication, but when I try to deploy the same code on a VM (Virtual Machine) within the company intranet , the connection to the remote server fails. 

Appreciate your help and feedback on this.

@ataploo - can you reach any other remote server, other than your Confluence Server instance? This almost certainly isn't a Confluence issue, but rather, a network configuration issue. Whatever wiki.mycompany.com resolves to on your VM might be pointing to an IP that isn't reachable.
