Unable to create new page on Confluence

This morning I created a new confluence page but I am unable to edit the page.  I am still able to edit the existing pages but just not a new page.

Has anyone encountered this problem?

I just have everything grayed out just like in the screenshot. Even in the menu item.

I just noticed that if I picked Blank Page (Old) version still works for me so I am using that for now.

Was anyone able to find a solution outside of selecting the old version?

Same issue, same behaviour. I also noticed lots of JS errors when this happens: "Websocket connection to 'wss://wikidocs.services.atlassian.com/v1/bayeux-sync1' failed: Unknown reason"

I am having the same issue - the old version works but the new format I cannot create a page. Filing a support request.
