Unable to edit any pages in Confluence due to Collaborative Editing (Confluence7.14.1)

cruise November 10, 2021
This page is taking longer to load than usual. Give it a few moments, then try refreshing. Still having issues? Contact your Confluence admin.

After confluence is upgraded to 7.14.1, open collaborative editing cannot be edited, after closing it can edit, server.xml is configured with HTTPS, but there is no HTTP, how should I configure HTTP so that synchrony can perform health checks and then work

Hi @cruise ,

Synchrony works on a different port (8091 by deafult). If you want to change it please add synchrony.port on synchrony-args.properties file within your conlfuence home. For more information about synchrony configuration, please, take a look to this article https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/configuring-synchrony-858772125.html

For troubleshooting purposes, instead, use this one https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/unable-to-edit-any-pages-in-confluence-due-to-collaborative-editing-867362716.html

Hope this helps,

Fabio

In order to enable HTTP in server.xml you should add a new connector entry on a different port.

Btw synchrony works on a specific port as said in my previous comment.

Ciao,

Fabio
