Hi all,
I want to create a version for a documentation. Wenn I start the process I get a warning that "This page has children that are part of a Scroll Document."
I might also say that I used for some pages the function "Include page". The pages are also in the same folder as the documentation (Project).
Has anyone had this problem and knows how to solve it?
Thanks in advance.
Hi Alex,
My name is Johanna, I work with K15t, the vendor behind Scroll Documents.
I see that you’re trying to activate Scroll Documents for a page with one or more child pages. The warning indicates that at least one child page is already part of a Scroll Document.
In Scroll Documents, creating nested documents is not possible or recommended. The warning appears because enabling Scroll Documents on a parent page would also make its children a part of that document, resulting in a nested document if the child pages are already part of one.
To address this, you can go to the Document Library in your space, examine your existing documents, and identify which page or pages are hindering you from enabling Scroll Documents on the parent page. One workaround is to move those child pages so they are no longer children of the parent page where you want to enable Scroll Documents.
I hope this helps!I
