Dear Atlassian team,
We're testing out upgrading Confluence from 6.14.1 to 6.15.1 in our staging environment.
After upgrading to 6.15.1 I noticed that none of the users synced from Jira are able to log in anymore. The only user that's able to log in is the Administrator account which is a Confluence local account.
I get the following error trying to log in:
The following error(s) occurred:
Sorry, an error occurred trying to log you in. Please try again.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
I found what was going on.
When I create a staging machine I make a clone in vSphere and tweak the hosts file.
Apparently the application link between Jira and Confluence is done by IP which of course was still the production system. This was the reason why it wasn't working.
Issue solved.
Hi,
did you move to another server instance or not? Are applications links working?
Try to check user directory configuration. If it will need try to remove user directory and configure it again.
