Hello all,
I'm using Confluence Cloud with a free tier. As administrator I created a space, added a page, uploaded an image to a page, published a page.
When I open a page's menu it doesn't have attachments item. I created another space and repeated all steps and got the same results.
Under Space Settings > Content > Attachments I see all my attachments but I unable to manage them anyhow.
It all looks like attachments functionality is completely inaccessible for me.
What I'm missing?
I found where Atlassian has moved attachments in the new design. Attachments are now accessible from the "Show Details" menu, which is at the bottom-right corner of a page:
@Oleksandr , Good find. I haven't had to deal with attachments lately so once I found out how to add one with the methofd I descibed I was good to go.

@Oleksandr I believe Atlassian got rid of the extra step to getting an attachment on the page.
I'm pretty certain the only way to add attachments now is to add the upload widget to the page and then add your attached file. I haven't found another way to do this since it was removed from the menu in your screenshot. I have tested this in the free version and the following instructions will work.
Once you have clicked on the widget, this is what you'll see during the edit process.
If you upload a file using this pop-up, it will drop the attachment on the page immediately. If you don't upload a file it will appear as the standard upload widget on the screen as shown in the next screenshot. You can then add more files to the page.
Finally, once a file is added and you have the attachments widget on your page, you'll see the dialog that used to exist when you clicked on the attachments field at the top of the page.
I hope that helps.

@Danno Thanks for confirming that I'm not the only one who experiences this. Your post is helpful.
Now, if I add a v1 photo to a page, so it becomes a part of the content, then some time later I replace it with a v2 version, there is no way to see or manage the photo's revisions without adding the "attachments" macro to the page. If I delete a photo from a page, it will be no longer a part of a page's content but still remain in the attachments, and again, there is no interface to manage these attachments.
I'm wondering why Atlassian decided not to have an attachments management functionality as a standalone thing. If this is the only way now to manage this, then the resulting pages will have content mixed with a stuff related to a page's management.
I'm not sure I understand this decision.

@Oleksandr I'm not sure why, but it seems I ask that question often here in the Atlassianverse. I think you could create an attachments page in your space to contain them but I haven't looked at that yet.
