It looks like the most recent versions of CCMA require 6.15.1+.I would upgrade at least to 6.15.1 and then migrate. If you are upgrading to 6.15.1 you should be able to do a direct upgrade, but you will need to check your underlying database version to make sure it is supported.
As always, upgrades should be done on test environments first.
