User appear many times in Confluence > People section, but mentions not working

Hello,

I have 2 issues right now -

1. I am the admin for the JIRA-Confluence site and I see that my name appears around 4-5 times under the Confluence > People section. How do I get rid of additional instances of me appearing under users section. Since I am using On-demand verison, I do not have option to re-index.

2. Second issue I have is that other users cannot add me using the Confluence Mention feature (@myname). I know some other forum mentioned it to be an issue with user not appearing in index, but that does not seem to be the case, since my name appears more than once.

Any help to resolve it will be helpful.
