Hi, I've looked through many questions re attachments and restricted pages, and I understand the principles. I have a user "Matt" who *should* be able to view/edit attachments on a restricted page but cannot.
Confluence Server 6.2.3
The page itself: everyone can view, only Matt and I can edit.
The attachment is an Excel workbook. It's displayed within the page using the Office Excel macro, on one "card" inside the "Deck of Cards" macro from ServiceRocket. Matt can see the Excel workbook displayed on the page just fine.
I have used a snippet of CSS to suppress the display of "Edit document" that normally appears above the Office Excel macro.
When he goes to the attachments page, he gets the "page not found" error message and can't access the attachments page or download/edit the Excel workbook. I know he should be able to since he has edit access to the page (which he has successfully edited).
Matt belongs to two user groups which do not have edit access to the page, however he was granted edit access directly and I know permissions are additive.
Today I tried making him a wiki admin, and he can now edit the attachment. Matt is a trusted user and I would rather grant him superpowers than let everyone edit the workbook. However we may need to add page editors in the future and I need ideas on how to stop this from happening again. Thanks in advance for any insights!
