Users with Permission Cannot See Tab's

Hi guys,

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.  It's starting to become a more re-occuring theme.

After adding a user to a page, and giving them their required permissions, upon logging in as them, they are unable to see the tab in question.

They can get to the space via the search box, and look at the space from a direct link, but they cannot see the tab in which the space is held.

Why is this?  I thought it should appear straight away once someone has permissions?

How are you implementing the tabs?
