Using ASCII characters allowed?

Hi,

I tried to write in a wiki a simple ASCII character (►), but the document can't be saved.

How can I solve this problem?

PS: I am talking about confluence

Most probably you haven't set up encoding UTF-8 for your database. Please check database setiings

works for me. I think you need to put in more details, perhaps a stack trace or something ?
