Using Confluence attachment in NFS

Hello,

Trying to relocate Confluence attachment directory to NFS Mount.

I changed confluence.cfg.xml  <property name="attachments.dir">NFSmount/attachments</property> 

It seems to work well, but uploading attachment is extremely slow. 

(uploading 100MB file took about 150 seconds)

Have you ever tried to relocate confluence attachment data to NFS?

Does anybody use a NFS to host Confluence Attachments?

NFS mounts are not supported on Linux operating systems due to Lucene requirements.
