Using a generated RSS ATOM feed on my intranet

Afternoon, 

I am having trouble getting a generated RSS ATOM feed to work within a specific widget on my Intranet platform.

I have used the below code:

<feed xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom">
<title>[2012 Act Registration Manual]+Blog Feed</title>
<link <a href="https://rosdev.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RHW2/overview?mode=global"></a>>
<subtitle>Confluence Syndication Feed</subtitle>
<id>https://rosdev.atlassian.net/wiki</id>
</feed>

But all that appears is a 'nothing to display' message. 

Any ideas on how to get this working? The above url can be viewed via web search therefore I didnt think login authentication would be required.
