I am trying to utilize a confluence space as a database for referencing store level attributes for a multi store business. The space would be the hub for all stores with individual pages being specific to different store locations. I would like to be able to create a template or modify another one to have set attributes that could be maintained.

The over structure would work like

  • Space(Brand Hub with search)
    • Brand (5 brands)
      • Store (700 between all brands)
        • Store page needs a template for repeatable data input
        • Ideally we could upload a csv to automate upload
          • Could this also export?

Has anyone used the software for this type of project? Are there better alternatives?

This is a possible solution. I would caution you that this may be a very manual process to constantly update these pages because you have 700+ stores. With this space if you are going to update the content, you can only do it by uploading a single page or an entire space.

A new potential solution would be to leverage Atlassian Data Lake. It is a new product that is coming out and would allow you to connect a database to your Atlassian products. Please check out the features of this product here.
