We're in the midst of testing out Confluence and so we're creating templates for our internal documents. I'm surprised that there is no version control feature for templates – similar to the version control used for pages.
Am I just not seeing it? Are there any extensions (free?) that can achieve this?
So, templates actually are versioned. It's just not easy to get at them. However you can see the versions if you have database access. They are in the PAGETEMPLATES table.
Hello @Greg Dungca.
We have recently implemented Page Templates Change History Control plugin for server Confluence - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/1220906.
It can be used to control Confluence page templates history.
Thank you
