View file macro no longer working with Confluence 6.15.x ?

We recently updated Confluence to 6.15.4 and recognized, that the "viewfile macro" does no longer work.

Is there any workaround for this? I cannot find any other discussions with this problem so far.

Hi @Marco Nowak ,

Are you sure that the Office Connector plugin is enabled? There was a security vulnerability and one of the workarounds was to turn the webDav plugin which disabled automatically the OfficeConnector. You can read more about this here:

After upgrading (if this was turned off manually), you will need to manually re-enable:

• WebDAV plugin
• Widget Connector
• Office Connector

The Office Connector was disabled but I searched for "Viewfile".
