Hello,
Please can you inform me how to add on confluence, so i can view the status of a page, for e.g checking the age of the page, if its expired, if its needs to be archived, not viewed or its up to date?
Regards
Naeem
Hi @Naeem Adam ,
As Nick mentioned, Better Content Archiving can help you understand the status of a page and the quality of all your content in Confluence.
You can configure the rules that these metrics are based on and then see the status in a status indicator at the top of every Confluence page (except the ones excluded). See this documentation section for more information.

Hi Naem
Maybe you are looking for something like Comala Workflows: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/142/comala-workflows?hosting=server&tab=overview
And if your focus is mostly on archiving see Better Content Archiving: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/123/better-content-archiving-for-confluence?hosting=datacenter&tab=overview
Cheers

Hi @Naeem Adam
Without an add-on, it’s not possible to achieve this.
You can consider Comala workflows addon to show the status of the page and a few things.
You can add an info panel to the pages which states the status of the page so people can tell what is the current status of the page.
Hope this helps.

An easy way to track the page status, is to add the Status macro on top of the page. If you need some more information, like page publishing, content update, author, etc. You can include a table with this information on top of the page to have your users update it once they create/edit anything on the page.
Another idea here is to use Handy Status and Handy Date from Handy Macros for Confluence to update this information on the fly in the page view mode.
