Vote Request: Pressing the Up or Down Arrow Keys in a Code Block or Panel Moves the Cursor Outside

As of 2018-02-18, when editing a panel or code block, pressing the up or down arrow keys will immediately move the cursor outside of the specified block.

I am more annoyed by this issue than the new Ghostbusters movie.

As a software developer, I use code blocks most of the time to record my coding adventures through life and in my company.

It is my hope that someone else out there has the same level of frustration (or possibly more) than myself and to up vote the following issue to be fixed.
