Want to create an auto updating status field in Confluence Table

Tonja Davis February 17, 2022

Hello, I have a rather convoluted ask. I would like to create an auto updating status filed (on track/at risk/blocked) based on the number of still open tickets in Jira *and* the date field in Confluence. (see attached screenshot)

I am using the "Rich Filter Simple Gauge" to create the percentages (though my PO would prefer a flat line status gauge) and I would like this percentage to be one of the variables that creates the auto update based on the date field next to it.

Suggestions? Plug ins that I might need to try? We use server based Confluence so that is a limitation.

Hi @Tonja Davis ,

Our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app supports the Jira Issues macro and allows you to group issues by statuses (use the Pivot Table macro) and visualize the result (the Chart from Table macro). To count percent as a number, you may use the Table Transformer macro.

Here are several examples of the Jira dashboards in Confluence that you can achieve with the help of our app and the Jira Issues macro.

And if you need to build reports with a reference to previous dates (not the up-to-date dynamic report), check the last answer of this Community thread for an additional clause for the JQL query.
