Watching linked pages

Is it possible to receive notifications when a page linked to a page that I'm watching is updated, without having to directly watch that linked page manually?

Hi Christina,

No, it's not possible

Normally I'd try and provide some more information around why an answer is "no", but in this case it's just not a use case that Atlassian caters for due to what presumably is very low demand for that functionality.
