What happens if the Gatekeeper plugin is disabled?

Our Security team has instructed us to disable the Gatekeeper plugin, mainly due to the "People who can view" feature. Can we disable the entire plugin without issues?

Is this feature the only concern with the Gatekeeper?

If so, you can disable only that feature as explained in Check who can view a page .

Hi Thiago. Thanks for the quick response. They want the entire plugin disabled. Will that remove any "standard" functionality regarding user access, features, etc.?

Disabling the Gatekeeper App will disable the advanced features described in Inspect permissions .

It won't break any standard feature.
