Hi. A couple of years ago I put a lot of work into developing a complex survey and published results using the confiforms app for an organisation. Now another organisation wants to use the survey with amendments. They also use confluence. I don't need/want the data collected by the original survey moved as the new survey will be run for a different audience.
What is the best and simplest way to copy the survey and pages across to the second organisation? This could save me a lot of work.
Thanks for any help.
ConfiForms form configuration is stored within the page as page storage format, which means you can freely copy the page contents and paste it into a new page (on a new server, for example)If your form uses multiple forms and smart fields then you will need to set up them to reference new pages after copying.
Same applies if your form uses fields as webservice or database fields - you will need to make sure the connections are setup correctly and these fields use these connections appropriately
(The method with copy/paste will not work if you copy from server to cloud (new Confluence editor) - the question to Atlassian why they have not fixed that yet! It works quite well when you copy from server to cloud and use old Confluence editor in both instances)
