Hi, everyone!
We're a Mortgage company that uses Confluence Cloud as a knowledge base. Our staff uses it to troubleshoot problems and a place for How-To documents.
Recently, we decided we would like to use Confluence as a place to create Email Templates that our staff would send to clients.
Process:
Open page > Change details > copy content > paste on email > send
Since it will be a template, each email we send would have content that stays the same (introduction), and specific content that change (like their name, pending requirements, loan amount, etc).
One template that we use is a Request for Documentation email. See picture below (sensitive data erased).
Unfortunately (due to our lack of tech skills), we just place XXX---XXX on areas that need data to be entered
We feel that this is such an unsustainable method especially for our templates that are long and require multiple data to be entered. If we keep using this method, our staff tends to miss some data entry points.
We want the data entry points to be super visible and editable if possible.
Where our staff views the page, enters the data needed, copies the result and pastes it into an email.
I'm not sure which Macro, Add-on, or solution can make this work.
Is there a solution for this? or are we asking too much?
I would appreciate any help you can give. Thank you for reading this far.
P.S I looked into add-ons like Forms for Confluence, Easy Forms, Forms Inline Editor. Are these solutions or completely different?
I think this plugin was designed for your use case: DocuSign for Confluence eSignatures. I suggest giving it a free trial.
