When adding Github link in Confluence, I am getting: Restricted link, try another account

Hello community,
When I am adding a Github link in Confluence, I am getting an error message in the link saying: Restricted link, try another account.
Why does it display this error message?
Do I need an app or something? Is it because the repo is private?
