As in the question. I would like to know how to attach navigation (ideally to the top) so I can always use it, and not be forced to scroll through all of the pages in my confluence tree. This is really inconvenient.
I know there is 'back to the top' button, but then I need to scroll back down to be where I was in the structure.
I looked for an answer in docs and tried to google it, but couldn't find anything that would solve my issue.
Appreciate any response, also I want to say hello to the team and everyone as this is my first post! Thank you for creating such a great product!
Kind regards,
Elfimag
@elfimag This is the new navigation for Confluence. Refer to the following for more information:
Hi @elfimag ,
Are you referring to the side navigation (space and product) as marked on the screenshot below or are we talking about something else?
I mean, once you open a space, all top pages of the space will be visible in the sidebar on the left. Next, you need to expand each content that contains child objects to see what's under. This is by design and I believe some kind of recommendation is to have up to 5 levels, one under another.
Also, when you scroll through a page or some other content, the left sidebar should remain as is.
If we're talking about something else, for example, Table of Contents, there's a feature suggestion to have a floating ToC as you scroll through a page: CONFCLOUD-72545: Ability to set floating Table of Contents
Cheers,
Tobi

Hi there Tobi,
sorry for not being specific enough, I mean this part:
Ideally I would like to have it attached to the top part of the work space in confluence:
Kindest regards,

@elfimag ah, got it. Thanks for clarifying!
Unfortunately, there's no way to 'pin' those buttons/options to the top nav bar (at least not yet). Here are the newest official docs related to the new navigation: https://support.atlassian.com/navigation/resources/
I'd suggest reaching out to Atlassian Support and discussing this with them. Support team can probably create a new feature request on JAC (if one already doesn't exist), so it might get developed at some point in the future.
*if they do so, please share the link to the suggestion here
