We have a backup process policiy using Avamar tool where we need to be sure those those archives gets backuped. In order to get get that backup succesfull could you please informed where those archives gets store physically in the instance ?
Is is all store in database ?
Is store as system files in particular location ?
Thanks or informations

Archived spaces are stored in the database the same active pages are stored. The difference is that archived pages are not scanned by the syncrony service so they won't be picked up by searches or available in the list of spaces.
Here's a link that talks about the differences: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/archive-a-space-284368719.html
