Which permission is required to use "Edit in Word" (Office Connector) for attachments?

I have created a test-user with the following permissions, because I want him to edit attachments but not add/edit pages.

However this user can upload an delete attachments, but cannot edit them using the office connector (he does simply not see the "edit in office" link).

Only after adding "Page: add" permission it will work. Is this a bug? We are using Confluence 6.3.2.

Hi Karolin,

The user needs to be able to edit the page in order to edit the Office attachments. Therefore, Add Page is the correct permissions.

There's a feature request below to be able to set the Edit in Office permissions separately:
