Why am constantly logged out of Confluence in the middle of editing? (No JIRA installed)

Server version 6.11, Browser Firefox, Confluence is the sole installed application and has no addons; evaluation license

I keep getting logged out in the middle of my work. It's as if the system didn't notice my activity and just logs me out after the default 60 minutes (didn't measure that, it's just a feeling). I just log in again (I always click the "remember me" button) and can then save my work and proceed, but it is quite annoying.

I first suspected this is a limitation of the evaluation license, but I can't find any information on such restrictions. If it is something I also have to expect when starting to pay for my installation, I need to know how to get rid of that in advance ...

this is strange... There is a default session timeout of 60 minutes, if no activities happen on the client browser window. This is independent of the evaluation license, which has no restrictions apart from the 30 days limit.

Could you give us more information on your installation? What OS are you running the Confluence server on? Did you try another browser to rule out an issue on that side? Are you the admin of the server?

My OS is Win10 Home V. 1803 (64bit). It is a local installation, I am admin (as far as you can be admin in Win10 Home - it keeps asking me for confirmations when I do admin stuff, and if I want a program to run in admin mode, I have to set it manually to admin mode in the preferences - and have to confirm each time it starts).

I'll check tomorrow if there is any difference if I use MS Edge, but I am wondering if this problem is maybe somehow related to the other one, were using MS Edge didn't help.
